백소연 간단프로필e.jpg

Recognising the lack of platforms where students can share their passion for economics, Sarah created a website to facilitate interest and discussion for youth across the world. Her major interests include stabilisation policy and growth models in macroeconomics, human capital theory in labour economics, and the history of economic crises. Sarah wants to pursue a career in finance, but is always open to other fields such as policy making and NGO work. She welcomes everyone on board and hopes to learn much.

Rissa acknowledges the integration of economics in people's day to day life but found that a handful of people dismiss this. She embeds her strong passion for economics by actively amplifying the different perspectives and opinionated voices economists have through international platforms like BE. Rissa enjoys talking about politics with an open mind and is constantly seeking to challenge her beliefs. She is particularly familiar with political theory related to democracy and power. Eager, she hopes to meet like-minded individuals, gaining an insight into different outlooks of the economic world.

Rohan Naval.jpeg

Rohan Naval is very passionate about political issues. He studies at Greenwood High in the 11th grade. Rohan is rather discontent with the coverage of economic issues as he feels most of these economist have two main errors: the first being that they work backwards to support foregone conclusions, and the second being that they are not analytical enough. Hence, he would be interested in writing about political issues as they relate to economics, in addition to covering economic developments and trends.
